U.S. December CPI Due Jan. 15 at 21:30; Bloomberg/FactSet See 0.3% MoM, 2.7% YoY

The U.S. December Consumer Price Index will be released at 21:30 on Jan. 15, with Bloomberg and FactSet forecasting a 0.3% month-over-month rise and 2.7% year-over-year increase. Core CPI is expected at 0.3% MoM and 2.7% YoY, while the Cleveland Fed Nowcast shows 0.22% MoM for core. CME Group data show a 95% probability the Fed will hold rates in January.
