JPMorgan has tokenized a private equity fund on its proprietary blockchain and made it available to high-net-worth clients through its private banking division, WSJ reported on Oct. 30. The move marks the bank's first step in the broader rollout of its fund tokenization platform. JPMorgan said the initiative aims to enable investors to access alternative assets more conveniently through digital tokens.
