ERC-8004 Standard Positions Ethereum as AI Agent Discovery Platform
A new Ethereum technical standard, ERC-8004, aims to create an open marketplace for AI agents. The protocol enables users to mint and delegate AI agents using NFT infrastructure while maintaining reputation scores onchain. Engineers from MetaMask, Coinbase, Google, and the Ethereum Foundation developed the framework, which launched on Ethereum testnet this month.
