Zcash's 2027 roadmap targets quantum-proof security and payment-scale throughput

Electric Coin Company CEO Zooko Wilcox laid out a Zcash (ZEC) development roadmap through 2027, starting with plans to ship Quantum-Recoverable Wallets within the next 30 days. The project also targets full post-quantum security in 12 to 18 months and aims by mid-2027 to remove long-term risks to private transactions, as ZEC traded around $570 after gaining more than 70% over the past week.
