NEAR launches Universal Send; token rises over 3% as cross-chain payments go live

NEAR Protocol rolled out Universal Send, a tool designed to let users route any token to any supported blockchain in one transaction while keeping sender details and transfer amounts private. NEAR gained more than 3% over the last 24 hours and traded at $2.43 at press time as the launch coincided with a mild altcoin rebound.
