Datasection integrates OpenAI API into TAIZA as it scales Asia-Pacific capacity
On May 29, Japan's Datasection said its TAIZA enterprise AI platform has integrated OpenAI's API under a controlled deployment model that routes requests through Datasection's software layer instead of directly calling OpenAI cloud endpoints. The company reported operating more than 20,000 GPUs across Japan, Australia, and Thailand, and its Tokyo-listed shares rose nearly 20% to 6,140 yen after the announcement.

Hong Kong to allow RMB-paid stamp duty for yuan-counter trades; bill set for June 10
Hong Kong plans to amend its Stamp Duty rules so trades executed via the RMB counter of dual-counter securities can pay stamp duty directly in renminbi, with the bill scheduled for a first reading on June 10, 2026. The change is positioned to support offshore RMB liquidity and could gradually encourage more RMB-denominated ETF activity, including spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs listed on HKEX.

South Korea’s DAXA orders exchanges to invalidate suspicious shared API keys

TeraWulf jumps 10.3% after securing 285-acre Kentucky site for 1+ GW AI campus
TeraWulf said it has secured a 285-acre site in eastern Kentucky for the Muskie Data Campus, designed to support more than 1 gigawatt (GW) of AI and high-performance computing capacity. The company plans to deliver the first 500 MW in the second half of 2028, followed by another 500 MW in the second half of 2030. Shares rose 10.3% in the latest session and were trading at $25.18 at press time.

Bitcoin long liquidations top $574.28M as BTC slips to $75K zone
Over the past 24 hours, crypto markets turned broadly lower as total capitalization fell more than 2% to about $2.53 trillion, triggering $574.28 million in liquidations with roughly 90% from long positions.
