PancakeSwap Proposes Cutting CAKE Maximum Supply to 400 Million from 450 Million

PancakeSwap proposed cutting CAKE's maximum supply to 400 million from 450 million on Jan. 13, according to an official update. The team said circulating supply is approximately 350 million, leaving approximately 50 million of buffer not expected to be used. The ecosystem fund holds approximately 3.5 million CAKE, and if used first, inflation is unlikely.
