I. Account Upgrade Explanation

Starting from 2025-03-09, BingX will gradually introduce a dedicated Spot Account into the account system. This will bring two advantages:

1. Easier Fund Management and Clearer Account Separation

  • The separation of different accounts helps users clearly understand their capital status and enables more accurate tracking of the profits and losses generated from trades. The Fund Account is typically used for storing users' fiat currency or digital assets, similar to a wallet. The Spot Account, on the other hand, is specifically used for spot trading. This distinction helps users manage their funds and facilitates long-term PnL analysis.

2. Reduce Trading Risks (System Efficacy)

  • Before Spot Account is introduced, when users initiated a spot order, the system needed to perform double fund transfers, resulting in a longer transaction path, system instability, and an increased risk of failure, leading to potential trading risks.

Version requirement: Web users can log in directly to view and use the feature, while app users should upgrade to version 4.54.0 or higher.

II. Overview of Feature Changes

1. Spot Trading Fund Transfer Adjustment

  • Funds must be manually transferred from other accounts to the Spot Account before trading Spot.

  • If the trading page shows that the available balance is 0, please check whether the funds have been successfully transferred to the Spot Account.

  • For orders placed before the upgrade but executed or canceled after the upgrade, the related assets will be placed in the Spot Account.

2. Transfer and Asset Display

  • The transfer page will add Spot Account, supporting flexible fund transfers.

  • The spot trading page will only display assets in the Spot Account.

3. Transaction Records

  • The Spot trading transactions made after the upgrade will be assigned to the Spot Account, while historical transaction records will still be retained in the Fund Account.

4. Impact on Other Functions

  • Funds for Copy Trading, Grid Trading, and API trading will still be managed within the Fund Account, with no changes to the existing rules.

  • Note: Copy Trading traders can trade spot with Spot Account and the funds will be frozen in the Spot Account.

III. Must-Read for Users

  • Version requirement: Ensure your app is updated to version 4.54.0 and above.

  • Release progress: The Spot Account feature will be gradually rolled out. If it's not yet visible, please be patient and wait for its activation; no action is required on your part.
