PIPPIN, a Solana-based memecoin, fell 10.52% on March 29 to $0.0512 while 24-hour volume dropped 18% to $40.20 million. Whale holdings declined 25% over the past day, and positioning data highlighted $0.0467 and $0.0605 as key interest levels with $2.57 million in longs versus $4.69 million in shorts built over the past week.

Solana has overtaken Ethereum in all-time unique developers, reaching 10,864—nearly 20% more than ETH—alongside rising on-chain engagement. Over the past 60 days, USD1 supply on Solana increased from $160 million to $850 million while the network saw $200-$300 million in daily stablecoin volume, and analysts say SOL/ETH holding near 0.04 could support a push back toward 0.05 in Q2.

Coinglass data shows Solana's total futures open interest across exchanges at $5.44 billion (about 65.12 million SOL), returning to levels last seen around April 2025. The pullback follows a peak near $15 billion to $16 billion in mid-September 2025, and SOL was trading at $83.51, down 2.7% over the past 24 hours at the time of writing.

Solana traded at $83.11 on March 28, 2026, after falling from a peak near $140 in November 2025, while its charts showed the token holding the $80 area for three straight weeks. On-chain metrics indicate larger holders accumulated more than 2.3 million SOL from March 25–27 and about 1.1 million SOL left exchanges over the past week. Over the same period, Solana's RWA value locked reached $1.83 billion, up from $1.5 billion two weeks earlier.

On March 27, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net outflows of $225.5 million, while Ethereum ETFs posted $48.5 million in redemptions and Solana ETF products recorded $7.8 million in net outflows. Bitcoin network participation also cooled, with active addresses down more than 30% since August 2025. The data points to softer institutional risk appetite alongside weakening on-chain engagement.

Solana (SOL) broke out of a February range after Bitcoin (BTC) rallied to $76K by 17 March, but it later failed to hold the $89.9 range high and could not reclaim $100. With SOL trading just below the $83.3 mid-range, indicators on lower timeframes point bearish, while liquidation pockets sit near $83 and $79, making the next 24–48 hours pivotal.

On Thursday, crypto ETFs stayed under pressure, led by $171.22 million in net outflows from bitcoin ETFs while ether ETFs logged their seventh straight day of redemptions at $92.54 million. Blackrock’s IBIT saw $41.92 million leave, and ETHA recorded a $140.24 million exit even as ETHB brought in $96.81 million. Solana ETFs slipped by $1.04 million, while XRP ETFs showed no trading activity with assets unchanged at $949.15 million.

On March 26, Solana fell to $85 in a single session, sliding about 4% from the $89 area as $90 flipped from support into resistance. The setup highlighted a possible head-and-shoulders breakdown, with traders watching $80 as the key level and $90–$92 as the nearby ceiling.

Solana (SOL) was rejected at $93 and then lost the $90 support zone, sliding to $88 and trading around $88.2 at press time, down 4.5%. Derivatives metrics turned risk-off as Futures netflow fell 547% to –$103 million and Open Interest dipped 2% to $5 billion. One analyst said a bearish-flag setup could open downside toward $40–$45, while spot ETF inflows of $4.5 million may help limit further weakness.

Solana (SOL) was trading around $87, about 69% below its January 2025 high near $295.91, while some derivatives venues showed a long-short ratio above 3:1 and 65.5% of accounts positioned long. Open interest was roughly $2.2 billion and declining even as the long bias increased, alongside a funding rate of 0.0038% per 4-hour period. The report also cited liquidation data around Feb. 28 and March 5, highlighting a skew toward short liquidations and a 52-week low near $77.91.
