XRPL Foundation outlines two upgrades aimed at adding a native on-chain credit hub

The XRP Ledger Foundation said this week it has finished forming its new operational core, and Community Director Hussain Zangana (Vet_X0) detailed two planned protocol upgrades. The roadmap includes a native lending protocol and advanced programmability via “smart escrows,” positioned to help XRPL expand from payments toward a decentralized credit layer.
