Bitwise Lists 24 Finance Institutions Expanding Crypto in Regulated Markets

Bitwise reported on May 8 that 24 major financial institutions are now active in crypto across regulated channels, spanning trading, custody, private funds, payments, tokenization, and exchange-traded products (ETPs). The dataset highlights regulated ETPs as the most common on-ramp, while tokenized funds and blockchain-based settlement tools are also being tested by large banks and asset managers.
