Bitmine trims weekly ETH buying 75% to 26,497 ETH as BMNR falls and ETH slips under $2,000

Bitmine (BMNR) said it bought 26,497 ETH for about $53 million, down from 120,000 ETH the prior week, as Ethereum traded around $1,980. The firm reported total ETH holdings of about 5.42 million tokens, or roughly 4.49% of the ~120.7 million circulating supply, while BMNR shares have fallen 38% over the past year.
