Bitcoin hits $59,100 2026 low as many altcoins remain 94%–99.7% off ATHs

Bitcoin slid to a 2026 low of $59,100 this week and, as of 1 p.m. EDT on June 7, traded more than 50% below its $126,080 all-time high set on Oct. 6, 2026. While a few tokens posted strong 2026 YTD gains, many large-cap altcoins are still down far more than BTC from their peaks, with several sitting 94%–99.7% below ATH.
