Dormant Bitcoin Whale Withdraws $10.83M from Hyperliquid to Binance

A dormant address holding over 50,000 BTC historically withdrew $10.83 million from Hyperliquid to a Binance wallet over two hours on Dec. 1, emptying its account balance, Coinbob data show. The address closed an ETH short position worth approximately $15 million the previous day, recording a $54,000 profit, and accumulated total gains of approximately $837,000 since depositing $10 million on Nov. 25. The whale, inactive for eight years, had positioned a $500 million BTC short hours before the Oct. 11 market decline, earning nearly $100 million, with BitForex CEO Garrett Jin acknowledging links to the address.
