BlackRock Bitcoin ETF Becomes Firm's Top Revenue Generator with $52B Inflows
BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF has emerged as the company's most profitable product line, with first-year net inflows exceeding $52 billion and surpassing all other ETFs launched over the past decade, according to Cristiano Castro, BlackRock Brazil's business development director. IBIT is projected to generate approximately $245 million in annual fee revenue by October 2025. The fund currently holds over 3% of Bitcoin's total supply, benefiting from BlackRock's global distribution network and institutional interest following U.S. regulatory approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs. Castro noted that recent outflows align with expected retail investor behavior during price declines, emphasizing that ETFs serve as liquid tools designed to facilitate capital flow management.
