ICE CEO says NYSE parent held multiple meetings with Hyperliquid on onchain perps

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent of the New York Stock Exchange, has held several meetings with Hyperliquid as it assesses the onchain perpetual futures market, according to chair and CEO Jeffrey Sprecher. Speaking at a Bernstein conference on Wednesday, he said the talks were part of exploratory work and that ICE is pushing for a “level playing field” for 24/7 onchain derivatives activity.
