If you are prompted with an "incorrect Google Authenticator code" error message when logging in to your BingX account or using BingX services, we recommend that you follow these steps to troubleshoot.
Step 1: Please ensure that you have entered the six-digit code correctly, which is randomly generated by the Google Authenticator or other 2FA authentication tools.
Step 2: Try synchronizing the time of your Google Authenticator to resolve the error message of an invalid code. Please refer to the corresponding operating instructions based on your device type:
Device |
Synchronization Method |
Android |
1. Make sure your Android device is set to automatically update the date and time. 2. Open the Google Authenticator app and go to settings. 3. Tap on "Time correction for codes" and click "Sync now". |
iOS |
1. Please ensure that your iOS app is updated to the latest version. 2. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Date & Time", and enable "Set Automatically". This will automatically update the date and time based on your time zone, and your device will prompt you if a time zone update is available. 3. Go to "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Location Services" > "System Services", and enable "Setting Time Zone". Allow the app to use your location to determine the correct time zone. 4. Go to "Settings" > "General" > "Date & Time" > "Time Zone", and check if it is set to the correct time zone. |
Step 3: Restart the platform based on the device you are using (PC or app). Simply follow the steps below:
- PC: Clear the browser's cookies and cache, and close the browser completely from the background. Then, reaccess and log in to the BingX official website, or try logging in again using Google Chrome incognito mode.
- App: Force quit the recently used BingX app, reopen it, and log in again.
Step 4: Check your current WiFi or mobile network connection and ensure it is good, secure and stable.
Step 5: Try rebinding your Google Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) with your backup Google Authenticator key and logging in again with the newly generated verification code.
If you are still unable to log in due to the "incorrect Google Authenticator code" and have not backed up your Google Authenticator key, please contact BingX online support for assistance.
