NOG Energy Week 2026 concluded with more than $4.5 billion in signed energy deals, with gas and LNG accounting for about 39% of total value, according to the event organisers’ statement. NNPC Limited and the Seplat Energy joint venture signed a 15-year gas sale and purchase agreement with UTM FLNG Limited to supply 200 million standard cubic feet per day, supporting a Final Investment Decision for Nigeria’s first floating LNG project in the fourth quarter of 2026. ExxonMobil affiliate Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria and partners Chevron, TotalEnergies and Nexen announced a $1 billion commitment to the Usan Infill Project, which is expected to add 40,000 barrels per day to Nigeria’s output. The week also featured additional agreements involving NNPC Limited, Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited and several network entry deals.
