ABF flags lower full-year profit, warns gas costs could further squeeze sugar unit next year

Starmer gives tech firms 3 months to stop under-16s viewing or sharing nude images, warns of legislation ahead of G7 talks
UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warned tech companies ahead of the G7 summit that the government will legislate unless platforms within three months make it impossible for under-16s to take, share or view nude images. He also confirmed a social media ban for under-16s, due to take effect next Spring. Meta executives are expected to attend a related roundtable session. The move targets major social platforms’ operating models and could raise compliance costs while putting pressure on growth and advertising revenue from underage users.
