EQT lifts Perpetual takeover bid to A$22.50 a share, valuing firm at A$2.55 billion
Swedish private equity firm EQT has raised its takeover offer for Australia’s Perpetual for a third time, proposing A$22.50 per share and valuing the group at A$2.55 billion ($1.78 billion). The price implies a nearly 19% premium to Perpetual’s last closing price. Asian stocks climb as Middle East mediation eases Brent to $88.88 a barrel
