Macy’s reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $169 million, with adjusted earnings of 40 cents per share and adjusted revenue of $4.87 billion, topping Wall Street expectations. The company’s revenue was $5.06 billion for the period. Macy’s kept its full-year earnings forecast at $2.15 to $2.35 per share. It also maintained its full-year revenue outlook of $21.68 billion to $21.83 billion.

Drone maker AeroVironment reported a net loss of $5.1 million for fiscal 2025 first quarter, but posted adjusted earnings of $0.59 per share, well above analysts’ $0.22 estimate. Revenue came in at $480.5 million, also ahead of the $467.9 million consensus forecast. The company guided for full-year earnings of $3.02 to $3.34 per share and revenue of $2.13 billion to $2.23 billion. Despite the beat, the stock is down 42% year to date and last traded at $140.80.

U.S. stocks fell after Brent crude surged 3.4% to climb back above $100 a barrel for the first time since July. The jump in oil followed the latest attacks between the U.S. and Iran, which have stifled the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. The S&P 500 slipped 0.5%, the Dow fell 0.8%, and the Nasdaq lost 0.6%. Treasury yields also moved higher.

American Eagle Outfitters reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $134.1 million and revenue of $1.38 billion, beating Wall Street expectations. Analysts had projected revenue of $1.37 billion on average.

Footwear company Caleres reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $58.6 million, or $1.71 per share. Adjusted earnings were 47 cents per share, topping analysts’ estimate of 37 cents. Revenue came in at $695.5 million, slightly below the $702.5 million forecast. Caleres expects current-quarter EPS of 62 cents to 70 cents and full-year EPS of $1.50 to $1.65.

Korn/Ferry International reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $69 million, with adjusted earnings of $1.43 per share and adjusted revenue of $756.5 million, topping market expectations. Revenue for the quarter was $764.6 million. For the quarter ending in October, the company forecast earnings per share of $1.30 to $1.40 and revenue of $860 million to $878 million, according to AP.

Kenon Holdings reported second-quarter net income of $44 million, or 85 cents per share. The Singapore-based holding company recorded revenue of $379 million for the period.

GameStop reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $298.7 million, or 51 cents per share. Adjusted earnings were 27 cents per share, excluding one-time items. Revenue for the quarter was $790.2 million.

ABM Industries reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $49.7 million, or $0.84 per share. Adjusted earnings came in at $1.04 per share, topping the $1.01 consensus from three analysts surveyed by Zacks. Revenue totaled $2.32 billion, above the $2.3 billion estimate. The company forecast full-year earnings of $3.95 to $4.10 per share.
