The company launched a new Gemini agent for enterprise earlier this month, and Google will bring that “same experience” to consumers later this year, starting with the Gemini app, CEO Sundar Pichai said on today’s Q3 2026 earnings call. It’s a time frame the company has suggested before. It says a “virtuous cycle” (well, virtuous for memory manufacturers at least) is seeing AI productivity gains lead to increased demand, maintaining pressure on supply even as SK Hynix ramps up production. It’s already signed agreements to sell more than half the RAM it’ll produce through 2028.

The state’s Attorney General Peter Neronha filed the suit in Providence Superior Court, accusing Meta of making billions in profits from scam ads, while simultaneously telling users it was working hard to protect them. That’s according to Mark Zuckerberg on the company’s earnings call today. He also says that “About 25% of people who have set up Muse use it on any given day. For our earliest adopters, the longer that they use Muse, the better the retention seems to get.” This week, Sensor Tower reported that the Muse app had hit 10 million US downloads.

Samsung Electronics issued third-quarter guidance, expecting strong memory chip sales driven by AI demand. The company forecast operating profit to rise 782% year on year. It also projected revenue of about 195 trillion won, up nearly 127% from the same period last year. Samsung said the quarter could set a new profit record.

Micron Technology reported record results for fiscal fourth-quarter and full-year 2026. DRAM quarterly revenue jumped 343% year over year to $39.8 billion, while data center revenue surged to $18.0 billion from $1.57 billion a year earlier. NAND quarterly revenue also climbed 526% to $14.1 billion, with all three figures marking record highs.

OpenAI’s chief financial officer told investors that the company’s enterprise revenue has surpassed its consumer revenue. Sarah Friar said OpenAI began the year with a 60/40 split, but enterprise growth accelerated faster than expected and has since overtaken consumer, according to CNBC. She added that enterprise now makes up the majority of the company’s revenue.

Spotify said its paid subscriber base has reached 300 million, making it the first audio streaming company to hit that milestone. Premium subscribers rose 9 percent year over year. Monthly active users climbed to 777 million, up 12 percent from the same quarter last year.

Snap said it has 971 million monthly active users, up 4.2% year over year. Revenue rose 19% from a year earlier. The company is preparing to launch $2,195 augmented-reality glasses at an event on Sept. 16. The update points to continued growth in Snap’s user base and monetization.
