Indias gold demand is expected to fall to a six-year low of around 650 tonnes in 2026 as record prices, rising living costs and a weak monsoon weigh on jewellery purchases and investment, according to the World Gold Council (WGC).

Revenue rose 40.8% to Rs 220.9 crore. Strong demand for power transmission solutions drove the increase.

Coca-Cola's low-sugar drink sales also doubled in the same period. Indian consumers are turning to low-sugar products because sugar prices are high.

The company's Q2 revenue rose 30.5% year on year to Rs 274 million. EBITDA increased 27.7%. Sales of pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods packaging supported the results.
