Oil-price uncertainty ripples through markets as Bitcoin holds a $65,000–$76,000 range
Bitcoin has stayed broadly stable as oil prices and West Asia war-related uncertainty weigh on risk appetite, with total crypto market capitalization around $2.4 trillion at press time. It has traded in a roughly $65,000 to $76,000 band since the October 10, 2025 liquidation-driven crash, while spot data shows muted participation. Over the past 60 days, total spot accumulation has reached $4.99 billion, suggesting demand remains too soft to force a decisive breakout.

Bitcoin approaches $72,000 as derivatives positioning turns crowded and fragile
Bitcoin's push toward $72,000 is being framed as a potentially fragile move, with long positioning in derivatives raising the risk of a reversal if traders get overcrowded. The OI-Weighted Funding Rate has risen to 0.0054%—its highest since 23 February—alongside $50.64 billion in Open Interest that appears heavily skewed toward longs. Analysts also point to limited retail spot participation and only tentative accumulation signals, leaving the rally without firm confirmation.

Bitcoin holds near $71,000 as a 2021-style gasoline fractal hints at downside
Bitcoin (BTC) was trading around $71,000 at the time of writing, staying relatively steady despite escalating geopolitical tensions tied to the U.S., Israel, Gulf states, and Iran. The article argues that a resurfacing Bitcoin–gasoline “fractal,” alongside a $470 billion weekly drop in global M2 and stablecoin supply hitting $316.9 billion, points to cautious liquidity conditions that could keep pressure on BTC.

Crypto market sentiment has moved back into a fear phase, as volatility persists and investors have pulled more than $230 million over the past five days.
