Travala launches AI travel protocol for 2.2M hotels and a Claude-based concierge
Travala said it launched its Travala Travel MCP on June 5, enabling autonomous software agents to search, book, and pay for stays across more than 2.2 million hotels, with users authorizing only the final payment. The Base-built system supports gasless USDC payments via x402 with settlement costs of about 1 cent per booking, and offers developers a programmatic 10% cbBTC rebate for agent-executed bookings. Travala also said it will extend the protocol beyond hotels to additional travel products, including flights.

Spectra Rolls Over $4.88M XRP Liquidity on Flare in June 3–4, 2026 Transition
An XRP-denominated fixed-term yield market on Flare completed a liquidity rollover between June 3 and June 4, 2026, moving about $4.88 million into a newly launched instrument without interrupting trading. The migration was handled through Spectra's Metavault design, which automatically redirects liquidity when pools mature. The rollout follows the May 15 launch of Monarq's MXRPY vault and coincides with an XRP Alliance promotion running through June 8 that includes a shared $40,000 reward pool.

Bitcoin slides to $61,310 as $636M long liquidations drive $1.73B wipeout
Bitcoin fell to $61,310 late Wednesday, rebounded toward $64,600, and later traded just under $64,000, still down 3.2% over 24 hours and 14% over seven days. The sell-off sparked $1.73 billion in leveraged liquidations, including more than $803 million in bitcoin positions, with $636 million from longs. Bitget Wallet’s Lacie Zhang said continued outflows could leave room for a retest of $55,000 to $57,000.

Israel's Crypto Tax Disclosures Stay Low: 58 Filings Reveal $50.7M Since August 2025
Israel's current voluntary disclosure program has attracted limited participation from crypto holders since it began in August 2025, with just 58 crypto-related requests reporting about $50.7 million (145.8 million shekels) in undisclosed digital-asset capital. Across all assets, 289 filings have declared roughly $236 million and produced an estimated $14 million in tax revenue, far below officials' $700 million to $1 billion projection. The program remains open until Aug. 31, 2026, but advisers say the removal of anonymous filing has reduced participation.
