U.S. House to Vote Wednesday on Ending 42-Day Government Shutdown as Altcoin ETFs Enter SEC Review
The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to vote Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET (5 a.m. Beijing time Thursday) on legislation to end the 42-day government shutdown, following Senate approval on November 11. Multiple altcoin spot ETFs have been listed on the DTCC website, including XRP ETFs from five issuers such as Franklin and Bitwise, as well as 21Shares' Polkadot, DOGE, and Sui ETFs, and Bitwise's Chainlink ETF, representing standard procedure for new ETF launches though not indicating regulatory approval. Canary has submitted Form 8-A for its XRP spot ETF, the final step before effectiveness, with potential trading to begin Thursday pending Nasdaq listing approval, the filing shows.
