Aztec Layer 2 Network Raises 12,500 ETH in Presale, Opens Public Token Sale
Privacy-focused Ethereum Layer 2 network Aztec raised 12,500 ETH in its presale and opened its public token sale on December 2 at 14:40 UTC, the project announced. The sale uses the Continuous Clearing Auctions (CCA) mechanism developed jointly by Uniswap and Aztec, operating entirely on-chain via Uniswap v4. The public sale offers 14.95% of total token supply with a floor price corresponding to 98,493 ETH, representing approximately $280 million fully diluted valuation at current ETH prices. Aztec, backed by a16z, Paradigm, Vitalik Buterin, and Aave founder Stani Kulechov, has developed privacy technology for seven years and created the general-purpose zero-knowledge programming language Noir.
