OKX Introduces Exchange OS on X Layer to Power Custom Onchain Exchanges
On May 26, OKX introduced Exchange OS, an upgrade to its Ethereum-compatible X Layer network that lets developers and institutions launch their own onchain trading venues using OKX's exchange-grade stack. The framework supports spot markets, perpetual futures, and prediction markets, with shared liquidity, settlement, and risk controls across deployments. OKX said the first Exchange OS-based venue is planned for June, and OKB was trading at $94.21 on May 26, up 13% over 24 hours.

Hyperliquid wallet opens ~$100.3M 23x ETH short, liquidation at $2,149.84
A trader opened a large bearish Ethereum derivatives position on Hyperliquid, shorting about 47,604 ETH with 23x cross leverage on May 25. The trade’s average entry was $2,094.92 and its liquidation level was set at $2,149.84, leaving roughly $33 of room when ETH traded near $2,116. The position was showing an unrealized loss of more than $600,000 as traders watched for a move toward key resistance.

BlackRock-Backed Basin Targets Tokenized Treasuries With Up to $1B Daily Stablecoin Liquidity
Grove has introduced Basin, a blockchain-based liquidity facility supported by firms including BlackRock and Janus Henderson, aimed at speeding up redemptions for tokenized Treasury funds. The system is designed to offer investors access to as much as $1 billion in stablecoin liquidity per day while traditional settlement continues in the background. BlackRock's $2.2 billion BUIDL and the $1.1 billion Janus Henderson Anemoy Treasury Fund (JTRSY) are the first connected products.
