XRP's weekly chart is signaling a potential bearish continuation after price failed to regain the $1.60 area. Veteran chartist Aksel Kibar says a breakdown from the current triangle-like consolidation could extend losses toward $0.75. At press time, XRP was trading at $1.29.

On May 25, the positive-to-negative commentary ratio sat near 1.104, with Santiment putting the broader measure at about 1.1 bullish remarks per bearish one as XRP hovered around the mid-$1.30 area and later traded at $1.34.

Hyperliquid's HYPE token has slightly moved ahead of Dogecoin in CoinMarketCap's market-cap rankings after reaching a new all-time high above $64 on May 24. CoinMarketCap listed Hyperliquid at about $16.03 billion in market cap versus Dogecoin at about $15.87 billion, with 24-hour volume of $1.11 billion for HYPE and roughly $591.7 million for DOGE. The gap remains narrow, and the ordering can shift with price feeds and circulating-supply calculations.

Bitcoin's on-chain demand picture has deteriorated, with CryptoQuant analyst Darkfost saying the Apparent Demand gauge has slid to its most bearish reading of the year. The 30-day sum measure is nearing -147,000 BTC, which Darkfost said is the weakest level since early 2026. BTC was trading at $77,300 at press time.

Bitcoin fell back under $78,000 after failing near recent range highs, and Glassnode says options positioning still points to caution. The data highlights lower implied volatility, persistent demand for downside hedges, and a short-gamma area around the mid-$75,000s that could intensify weakness if price drifts lower.
