To reduce liquidity volatility risk around market open, market close, and before and after weekend closures, the platform will adjust the initial margin rate for relevant trading assets during certain special sessions. This notice explains the adjustment rules. Please read the following carefully before trading and plan your trades accordingly.

1) Scope of Application

These rules apply to CFD assets designated by the platform. Trading hours may vary by underlying asset, so the platform applies the corresponding margin rules based on each asset's actual open and close times.

Trading hours for certain assets may change due to holidays, liquidity arrangements, or temporary market events. The actual scope of application and effective time are subject to the trading platform display and platform announcements.

2) Special Session Details

The platform will raise the initial margin rate for relevant assets during the following special sessions:

• Approximately 3 hours before Friday market close.
• Approximately 30 minutes after Monday market open.
• Approximately 30 minutes before daily market close, Monday through Thursday.

To ensure the rules run reliably, the platform processes adjustments in approximately 15-minute increments. For example:

• Assets with market open times of 00:02 or 00:06 may be treated as opening at 00:00.
• Assets with market close times of 23:56 or 23:58 may be treated as closing at 24:00.

As a result, the actual start or end time of the adjustment for individual assets may differ slightly from the exact market open or close time.

3) Affected Assets and Adjustment Range

During special sessions, the platform raises certain low initial margin rate tiers by asset category. If the normal initial margin rate for an asset or a specific tier is already at or above the adjusted level, no additional increase will apply.

The table below summarizes information by asset category and does not list every individual trading asset. The specific assets covered are subject to the trading platform display. Assets with the same name ending in ".s" follow the same rules.

• Leverage is calculated as "1 / initial margin rate" and is used only to explain the margin verification logic for opening positions.
• The "Pre-Adjustment" column in the table shows only the first tier for each asset category.
• If an asset uses multiple margin tiers, only tiers below the adjusted level will be raised.
• Not all forex and stock index assets will be adjusted. Assets whose leverage is already at or below the adjusted level keep their original rules.
• Metals - Silver-related assets will keep their original margin rules this time and are not included in the special session adjustment.
• The actual effective session for each asset follows its own market open and close schedule. In the event of holidays or temporary trading hour adjustments, the trading platform display and platform announcements will apply.

4) Actual Impact

During special sessions, the increase in the initial margin rate mainly affects margin verification when opening positions.

1. Will affect
   • Margin verification when opening new positions or adding to positions.
   • Margin verification when placing new pending orders or when pending orders are triggered and filled.
   • If available margin is insufficient, orders may not be submitted or filled.

2. Will not affect
   • Does not affect margin occupied by existing positions.
   • Does not affect the actual margin occupied after a position is opened and filled.
   • Does not affect the maintenance margin rate. The maintenance margin rate remains at its original setting.
   • Does not affect the open price, position side, or trade history of positions already filled.

You need to monitor your account equity, available margin, position size, and pending orders before and after special sessions to make sure your account has enough risk buffer.

5) Risk Warning

Liquidity may drop, spreads may widen, prices may gap, or execution prices may deviate around market open, close, and weekend closures. Margin rule adjustments cannot eliminate market risk.

You should trade carefully based on your own risk tolerance, and stay up to date on platform announcements, trading hour changes, and your account margin status.

This notice only explains the platform's margin rules for special periods. If this article differs from the real-time display on the trading platform, the Customer Agreement, or platform announcements, the real-time display on the trading platform, the Customer Agreement, and platform announcements shall prevail.
