Dear Users,

To meet different trading habits and strategy needs, BingX CFD offers two account fee modes for all online asset types: zero fee mode and ultra-low spread mode. This article explains the definitions, core differences, and use cases of both modes to help you choose the trading approach that best fits your needs.

1) Zero fee mode (default)

Zero fee mode is the default account mode for all BingX CFD users. It's based on the STP (Straight-Through Processing) trading model, where all costs are already included in the bid-ask spread, so you don't pay any extra commission. The fee structure is clear and transparent.

1. Core features

  • No extra commission: the full cost of each trade is already reflected in the spread, so you know the actual cost as soon as you open a position
  • Standard spread: the spread stays relatively stable, making it easy to calculate trading costs
  • Trading pair identification: trading pairs carry a .s suffix, for example XAUUSD.s, EURUSD.s
  • No application needed: this mode is used by default once you open a BingX CFD account

2. Who it's for

  • Beginners new to CFD trading who want a simple, easy-to-understand fee structure
  • Low- to medium-frequency traders and everyday investors who don't need an extremely low spread
  • Users who prefer a "zero commission, all-in price" mode

2) Ultra-low spread mode (apply to activate)

Ultra-low spread mode is based on the ECN (Electronic Communications Network) trading model. It connects directly to aggregated quotes from multiple institutional-grade liquidity providers (LPs), offering a narrower bid-ask spread than zero fee mode, and charges a fixed commission based on the number of lots traded.

1. Core features

  • Ultra-low spread: aggregates quotes from multiple LPs for better market depth, with pricing closer to institutional-grade levels
  • Fixed commission per lot: each trade is charged a fixed commission based on the number of lots traded, with a transparent and predictable fee rate
  • Trading pair identification: trading pairs have no suffix, for example XAUUSD, EURUSD
  • Application required: your "CFD account" must hold at least 3,000 USDx in assets before you can apply

2. Who it's for

  • High-frequency traders who are extremely sensitive to the spread on every trade
  • Quantitative traders using automated Expert Advisor (EA) strategies
  • Advanced users who need high quote precision and deeper liquidity

3) Mode comparison

Comparison item Zero fee mode (STP) Ultra-low spread mode (ECN)
Activation method Default, no application needed Application required, activated once the asset threshold is met
spread Standard spread Narrower
Commission None Fixed commission charged per lot
Trading pair suffix Has .s (e.g., XAUUSD.s) No suffix (e.g., XAUUSD)
Who it's for Low- to medium-frequency, beginner, or everyday users High-frequency, quantitative, and EA traders

 * If you trade less frequently and with moderate trade sizes, zero fee mode is usually more cost-effective. If you trade frequently and with large trade sizes, the spread savings from ultra-low spread mode may be enough to cover the commission cost and more.

4) Fee structure explained for both modes

1. Zero fee mode fee example

Take trading 1 lot of XAUUSD.s as an example:

Item Description
Commission None
Actual cost Reflected in the spread — trades execute at the Ask price when buying and the Bid price when selling
Fee calculation Spread × contract quantity × contract multiplier

2. Ultra-low spread mode fee example

Take trading 1 lot of XAUUSD as an example:

Item Description
Spread cost Lower than zero fee mode
Commission A fixed amount charged per lot (specific rates are subject to the platform's published rates)
Total fees Spread cost + fixed commission

* Regardless of which mode you use, you need to monitor the accumulated cost of the swap fee (Swap) during your holding period. Overnight positions will be settled at the corresponding rate. Refer to the platform's Contract Information page for the specific rate.

5) How to Confirm or Switch Your Account Mode

  • Log in to BingX and go to the CFD trading page
  • Check the suffix of the current trading pair: a ".s" suffix indicates zero fee mode, and no suffix indicates ultra-low spread mode
  • To apply for ultra-low spread mode, contact customer support or submit an application on the Account Settings page
  • Once your application is approved, the system will automatically enable ultra-low spread mode trading pairs for your account
