3. Important Rules

1. Self-copy trading is prohibited: You cannot copy your own trading strategy.

2. Trading signal isolation: When a user acts as both a trader and a copier, orders generated by copy trading will not generate trading signals and will not trigger copy actions by downstream copiers.

3. Existing rules remain unchanged: Rules such as trader leverage limits, reverse position restrictions, and nickname change frequency (once every 30 days) remain unchanged.

4. How to Get Started

If you are already a trader and also want to copy trades:

Copy Trading Plaza → Select a trader → Click "Copy" → Set copy trading parameters → Start copy trading

If you are already a copier and also want to become a trader:

Copy Trading Plaza → Become a trader → Pass the requirements → Start lead trading

View both roles:

Copy Trading Plaza > My data > View both the "Lead Trader" and "My Copies" tabs

5. Interface Updates

  • The "My data" page will display both the "Lead Trader" and "My Copies" tabs.
  • The assets page will display Copy Trading Account information when copy trading is enabled.

6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q1: If I do both lead trading and copy trading at the same time, will there be a fund conflict?

No. Lead trading and copy trading use separate accounts. The funds are completely isolated and do not affect each other.

Q2: Will orders executed through my copy trading be copied by my own copiers?

It depends on the product:

  • Standard Futures: No. Copy trading orders do not generate trading signals.
  • USDⓢ-M Perpetual/Spot: Copy trading runs through a separate sub-account or Fund Account. It is separate from the lead trading account and does not generate trading signals.
Q3: Can I do both lead trading and copy trading within the same product at the same time?

Yes. For example, you can act as a trader in USDⓢ-M perpetual while also copying another trader's USDⓢ-M strategy.

Q4: If I want to cancel copy trading, will it affect my role as a trader?

No. Canceling copy trading only ends the copy trading relationship. Your trader role and positions in lead trading will not be affected.

Q5: Why can't I copy a certain trader?

Possible reasons:

  • The trader is you (self-copying is not allowed).
  • This trader has reached the copier limit.
  • Your Copy Trading Account balance is insufficient.
Q6: Do I need to reconfigure my copy trading settings after becoming a trader?

No. Your existing copy trading relationships and parameters will remain unchanged. Your trader role will not affect your existing copy trades.
