BingX USDⓢ-M Perpetual Futures is introducing the new Separate Isolated Margin Mode, in addition to the existing Isolated Margin Mode and Cross Margin Mode!
In separate isolated margin mode, multiple orders in the same direction and trading pair can be opened as separate positions. Each position is allocated its own margin.
Each position can be managed separately, where you can close positions and set Take Profit/Stop Loss (TP/SL) individually. It offers greater flexibility in position management and enhanced risk control.
I. Advantages of Separate Isolated Margin Mode
1. Separate Position Management
Each order creates a separate position, enabling you to close positions and set TP/SL individually for more precise management.
2. Flexible Trading Strategy
The Separate Isolated Margin Mode streamlines the management of multiple strategies in volatile or trending markets, boosting profit potential while effectively controlling risk.
II. Differences of Cross, Isolated, and Separate Isolated Margin Modes
Position Management |
Margin Allocation |
Forced Liquidation Impact |
|
Cross Margin Mode |
All orders in the same direction are grouped into one position, which is managed together. You cannot manage a single order separately. |
All positions share the same margin in the USDⓢ-M Perpetual Futures Account. |
Forced liquidation will result in the loss of the entire margin in the USDⓢ-M Perpetual Futures Account. |
Isolated Margin Mode |
All orders in the same direction are grouped into one position, which is managed together. You cannot manage a single order separately. |
Each position is allocated its own margin (each market position has its own margin, but orders in the same direction are grouped into one position). |
Forced liquidation will result in the loss of the entire margin under the grouped position. |
Separate Isolated Margin Mode |
Multiple separate positions can be opened in the same direction. Each position is managed separately, enabling you to close positions or set TP/SL individually. |
Each order creates a separate position with its own allocated margin. |
Forced liquidation will only result in the loss of the entire margin for that separate position. |
III. How to Use Separate Isolated Margin Mode
1. On the USDⓢ-M Perpetual Futures page, switch your margin mode to "Separate Isolated".
2. Create multiple positions based on your trading strategy and manage each position separately.
Note:
• Separate Isolated Margin Mode is currently not supported for Multi-Assets Mode, One-way Mode, TWAP order, and Use Bonus mode. To use this feature, please switch to Single-Asset Mode with Hedge Mode enabled.
