Ethereum Fusaka Upgrade Goes Live With PeerDAS, 60M Gas Limit and Reduced Rollup Costs

Ethereum activated the Fusaka upgrade, introducing PeerDAS technology that enables nodes to verify smaller data samples instead of complete blobs. The block gas limit increased to 60 million, allowing rollups including Arbitrum, Optimism, and zkSync to post larger data batches at lower costs. The protocol-level changes require no action from wallet holders or application users.
