South Korea’s internet-only bank Toss Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to build and test cross-border remittance infrastructure on Solana. The agreement is intended to serve as a starting point for the country’s third-largest internet bank to gradually integrate blockchain-based digital financial infrastructure across its services. Toss Bank plans to roll out the work in phases, beginning with overseas remittances before expanding into payments, digital assets and tokenized real-world assets.

Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies extended their slide as some of the biggest buyers pulled money from ETFs. Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted nearly $227 million in outflows over the past week, based on SoSoValue market data. The latest reading marks a sixth straight week of redemptions, though it was the smallest outflow in that stretch.
