Qualcomm is in discussions to acquire AI chip startup Tenstorrent in a deal that could value the company at $8 billion to $10 billion, according to a report. Tenstorrent is led by veteran chip architect Jim Keller and focuses on RISC-V-based AI accelerators, with backing that includes Samsung and Bezos Expeditions.
