Neo SPCC has released NeoGo v0.115.0 as a backwards-compatible update that improves Notary service concurrency, refines NeoFS state synchronization, and adds operational enhancements. The new version also adjusts the default MainNet MaxBlockSystemFee to 150,000,000,000 datoshi and introduces several features gated behind the future Faun hard fork, including a native Treasury contract and fee whitelists. The release remains compatible with NeoGo v0.114.0 and does not require a full resync unless nodes are upgraded mid-sync with the NeoFS state sync extension active.

Neo co-founders Erik Zhang and Da Hongfei have issued conflicting public statements over control of the Neo Foundation treasury and the level of financial transparency, following a dispute on X in late 2025. Zhang has accused Da of failing to deliver promised disclosures and keeping some assets in personal custody, while Da has rejected this framing and says updated financial reports for Neo Foundation and Neo Global Development are scheduled for release in Q1 2026.

According to discussions in Neo's latest core developer meeting, the team narrowed a proposed custom contract fee NEP to a GAS-only design and advanced a transaction-based approach for committee liveness. They also highlighted a blocked funds recovery candidate for Neo 3.9, progressed an Ethereum-compatible BLS12-381 interface via neo-go, and outlined Neo N4 with sidechains bridged to the Neo N3 main chain.

NeoDashboard's NDMEME token has been approved as the first non-native asset on the Neo X Native Bridge, enabling transfers between the Neo X and Neo N3 networks. The bridge, built and maintained by BaneLabs, previously supported only native NEO and GAS, and now also allows NDMEME trading on CarrotSwap and Flamingo Finance. BaneLabs has opened a formal whitelisting process with strict technical and strategic criteria that projects must meet before being added.
