Kroger drops Red Bull from shelves across its U.S. stores and fuel centers
Kroger has pulled Red Bull from all of its stores and fuel centers nationwide after price talks with the supplier broke down. The company sold its remaining inventory in August and removed Red Bull coolers and displays as of Aug. 31, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. New CEO Greg Foran has said Kroger will resist supplier price hikes and try to win market share by lowering prices and improving service. Kroger also plans to expand its value private brand Smart Way from about 130 items to 1,000.
