Bitcoin rose above $72,000 and briefly approached $73,000, last trading at $72,312, while trading volume jumped 94% to about $61.16 billion. The U.S. Treasury increased the maximum size of certain bond buyback operations from $2 billion to at least $4 billion per operation. Ethereum led gains among major altcoins, rising 19%.

Securitize said it has connected a tokenized version of its NYSE-listed shares, SECZ, to Loopscale’s onchain credit markets on Solana. The tokenized SECZ represents the same common stock, with ownership maintained through Securitize’s SEC-registered transfer-agent infrastructure. The integration allows eligible holders to use tokenized SECZ as collateral to borrow stablecoins at fixed rates without selling their shares. Securitize listed on the NYSE on July 2, 2026, and Solana hosts about $3.8 billion in distributed tokenized assets, the company said.
