Dear Users,
To further improve the efficiency of Trial Fund, BingX will be adjusting the offset rules for Standard Futures Trial Fund starting 2025-03-07 (UTC+8). Details are as follows:
When the Trial Fund is used to offset losses from closing positions:
• If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for offsetting.
• If the cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, the loss will be offset based on the Trial Fund's offset ratio. Only the remaining loss amount after deducting the profit portion will be eligible for offset.
Trial Funds can still be used to offset funding fees based on the offset ratio.
Example Illustration
Example 1:
• Trial Fund Claim Time: User A claimed and redeemed 50 USDT Trial Fund on 2025-04-10, with an offset ratio of 50%.
• Trading PnL
On April 11, User A conducted the first futures trade, which generated a profit of 100 USDT.
On April 12, User A conducted the second futures trade, which generated a loss of 100 USDT.
• Offset Details
Since the first trade earned 100 USDT and the second trade lost 110 USDT, the realized PnL after redeeming the Trial Fund is: 100 - 110 = -10 USDT.
If the cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is insufficient to cover the current loss, the loss will be offset based on the Trial Fund's offset ratio.
As the offset ratio is 50%, the offset amount will be: 10 * 50% = 5 USDT (the 5 USDT loss will be covered by the Trial Fund).
Example 2:
• Trial Fund Claim Time: User B claimed and redeemed 50 USDT Trial Fund on 2025-04-10, with an offset ratio of 50%.
• Trading PnL
On April 11, User B conducted the first futures trade, which generated a profit of 100 USDT.
On April 12, User B conducted the second futures trade, which generated a loss of 80 USDT.
• Offset Details
Since the first trade earned 100 USDT and the second trade lost 80 USDT, the realized PnL after redeeming the Trial Fund is: 100 - 80 = 20 USDT.
If the user's cumulative realized PnL after receiving the Trial Fund is sufficient to cover the current loss, the Trial Fund will not be used for offsetting.
Notes:
- If you redeem multiple Trial Funds, your cumulative PnL will be calculated based on the time of your most recent redemption.
- Realized PnL = Closing PnL - Funding Fee
Please stay updated on the impacts of these rule adjustments.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
